Privacy and data handling
ContractMove is built for sensitive documents. The workflow is designed to minimize data retention and give you full control over what we hold.
What we collect
We collect the contract text or file you submit and the AI-generated review result. We also collect basic usage events needed to operate the service (page views, error logs). We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information for the free review flow.
How we use it
Your contract text is used solely to generate your review. It is not used to train AI models, sold to third parties, or retained beyond the limits described below.
Retention periods
Raw uploaded files are deleted within 7 days of upload.
Generated reports are retained for up to 30 days so you can revisit them during your session.
Usage logs are retained for up to 90 days for debugging and service reliability purposes.
You can request immediate deletion at any time using the contact form.
No signup required
The free review does not require an account. We do not associate your contract text with any identity unless you voluntarily provide one.
Cookies and tracking
We use minimal cookies necessary for the session and analytics. We do not use advertising trackers. See our Cookies page for details.
Third-party providers
ContractMove uses third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic) to generate reviews. Contract text is transmitted to these providers under their respective data processing agreements. Payment processing is handled by a PCI-DSS compliant third party — we do not store payment card data.
Your rights
You may request deletion of any data associated with your session by contacting us. Requests are processed within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised date.
